We make our weekly pilgrimage to Taco Bell, about a half hour walk, depending on our enthusiasm. We have started fortifying ourselves with ddeokbokki and ddeokgochi from a little rice cake shop on the way. It is one of our better ideas. Over the weekend, we took the camera to make use of a moderate investment and to take pictures of some of the trees. I don't know if it's all of Korea, but Anyang has such a variety of trees, which make for nice layers of variegated foliage.

Standard red and yellow.

Reaching and lacy.

Trees with bags of their own leaves propped up against them.

Half gone.

Joash always likes to make a stop at the fish tanks.

Creeping me out.

On this particular day, our aforementioned rice cake shop was closed, so we satiated with some street food.

The lens fogged up while Joash was sneakily eating an egg biscuit.

This gentlemanly boyfriend helped dress the lady's burrito.

This looks like a sale on Highlights magazines, and I like it.

Last week, the baby decided he's a truck guy.

Making truck sounds.

But they must not have been doing something right.

Rainy days always inspire quality window watching time.

He must have seen a bird!
